A weekend for adults at Hautbois House, Norfolk, Friday 27th September arriving after 5pm finishing on Sunday 29th September 2pm.
This is your weekend for lots of fun, activities, learning and exploring new skills, networking, meeting and making new friends and catching up with old friends, a time to relax.
Cost is £110 per person, a £20 none refundable deposit is required, balance due by 30th July, you can make three £30 payments on 30th April, 30 June and 30 July.
An adventurous activity can be booked at an extra cost of £10 or you can opt to visit the ARC (Girlguiding Norfolk Archive Resource building) which contains a large collection of historically important items, discover Norfolk GG history free of charge, or just opt for some free time.
You will need to fund your own travel but you can look to District or Division to assist if they can.
Your room at Hautbois will be on a shared basis, spaces are limited so book now, closing date for bookings is 22 February.

What adventurous activities are there?
There will be five activities to choose from and you can only choose one.
1. stand up paddle boarding - cost £10
2. crate stacking - cost £10
3. orienteering - cost £10
4. Visit to the ARC and free time
5. Free time
What do I get for £110?
- Just under 2 days in a beautiful countryside setting in an old characterful house
- Full board with home cooked food
- Comfortable shared rooms (up to 5 people in a room) with ensuite facilities per room – some smaller rooms are available as well
- Opportunity to relax and spend time with other likeminded people
- Gathering ideas and activities to take back to your unit.
- Time to challenge yourself with the outdoor adventurous activities
- Meeting new friends and catching up with old ones
- We do have a bar at Hautbois so plenty of time to enjoy a glass of wine or the like!
What is the timetable for the weekend?
We start with Dinner – all diets are well catered for
Friday night will be settling in, getting to know each other and hearing more about the weekend
Saturday morning will be 2 training sessions – you will have the choice of 2 sessions for each session – details and a learning outcome can be found on the original post on Facebook
Saturday afternoon will be either free time, adventurous activity time or the opportunity to visit to the guiding museum ( called the ARC) on site
Late Saturday afternoon – another couple of relaxed opportunities to share your ideas and concerns and have a go at some of the more unusual UMA’s
After dinner a fun activity and no guiding evening – optional so if you just want to chill and watch Strictly – that is fine

We end the session at Sunday Lunch – which we are hoping will be a Sunday
dinner!
Who is providing the training?
We have secured 2 trainers from outside the county. Both are young and so full of ideas and enthusiasm that I know you will have a great weekend with them. Watch out to find out more about Robyn and Cassie in the Signpost
