Seed bombs

Seeds bombs are ideal to plant between March and June, so now is a perfect time to get making them! These are great for brightening bare spots in your garden and helping with biodiversity just make sure where ever you throw them, you have the land owners permission. Below are some instructions from the wildlife trust to make your own seed bombs.

Plant a tree

The Woodland trust have a number of ideas to help you plant a tree in your community.

You could apply for a free tree for your unit to plant later in the year, or perhaps you could plant some saplings from seeds that have fallen local to your meeting place, or perhaps from your fruit snacks!

Help with the community planting!

Perhaps your community has a community in bloom group, or a parish team that keeps the flower beds looking lovely. Volunteer your unit to help give it a spruce up ready for spring and summer.
