CAMJAM 2027
What: This epic week-long event is a fantastic opportunity for around 3,000 Scouts, Explorers, Guides and Rangers from across the County, the UK and overseas to come together in Cambridgeshire, share experiences, engage in mega action-packed activities, have fun and and make new friends.
It’s not just a camp. It’s a collection of memories that will last a lifetime.
When: 31 July to 7 August 2027 (inclusive)
Where: The Abbots Ripton estate, Huntingdon PE28 2PH
Cost: Leaders cost will be £130 Young participants - Guides, rangers, young leaders (who want to complete activities) will be £375
This price includes the Camjam fees and catering for the week.

Can I offer this opportunity to my guides and rangers if I can’t attend?
Participants will be booking on with the contingent as independents, Units will be able to camp together but by booking on individually the county team can ensure we have all the right support and paperwork when cooking and supporting the participants. Guides and Rangers from units with leaders volunteering will get priority places.
How will I cook dinners? And keep food cold?
We will be attending as a County and so meals will be organised as a whole, rather than per unit. If you have a gas stove or coolbox/ice packs available please do let us know. We will also require Gazebos and tables/chairs.
What if anyone has a dietary requirement?
Please let us know as soon as bookings are open if your unit has a dietary requirement (and if it’s a Leader, Guide or Ranger)
How do I book Guides and Rangers on to this event?
We will open the bookings on our website.
Who will they share tents with?
This will depend on numbers of girls attending and how many tents we have. We will update you as soon as we can.
We don’t have tents
The county have some tents available. These are on a first come first serve basis. We can also borrow tents from other units if needed.
Payment Plan
Payments will then be required at intervals through the year via BACS, recommended £50 per month between November and April, however other payment plans can be organised please contact [email protected].
