Rainbow STEM Day
When: 2-4pm on Saturday 4 November 2023
Where: The Coneygear Centre, Buttsgrove Way, Huntingdon PE21PE
Cost: £7 per Rainbow (including badge)
Spaces will be limited so early booking is essential to secure places for your girls.
Come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun STEM challenges for Rainbows. There will be construction challenges using Lego, experiments involving water and magnets and lots of games too. The girls will work in small groups assisted by their leaders to complete a number of challenges some of which will complete UMAs.
Extra information
- Uniform is to be worn.
- The usual ratios apply, 1 leader and 4 Rainbows. There is no need for more than one adult if you are bringing 4 or less girls. Please contact the Office if you wish to bring girls but don't have enough adult help to maintain ratios.
- Refreshments (Squash, tea and coffee) will be available but everyone will need their own water bottle and/or covered hot drinks cup.
- There is on site parking but this may become congested at the beginning and end of the event so please encourage car sharing to limit the impact on the local resident and to look after the environment.
- Each Rainbow will receive a badge.
